During my time working for Big Red’s Ranch, a non-profit dedicated to hosting camps and events that strengthen communities, my role expanded far beyond traditional graphic design. Working in a small non-profit setting meant adapting to a wide variety of creative needs, often shifting between print design, digital marketing, and even hands-on event photography/videography. I was responsible for shaping the organization’s visual identity and digital presence. This included creating logos, merchandise, and brand collateral; managing fundraising materials; developing seasonal event branding and marketing campaigns; and overseeing social media strategy and growth. I also designed webpages and digital assets, and even contributed to environmental and experiential design through signage and event decorations. This experience gave me the opportunity to lead projects from concept to execution while ensuring every touchpoint consistently reflected the mission and values of Big Red’s Ranch.
