Easter at the Ranch Festival is one of Big Red’s Ranch’s most colorful and family-focused annual events. I led the visual identity, print design, signage, environmental graphics, photography, videography, and social media marketing. The goal was to create a bright, joyful brand system that captured the excitement of Easter while guiding families through every part of the ranch experience.
I created the full event logo and illustrated map, blending playful hand-drawn details with cheerful pastel colors and floral motifs. The map was displayed both digitally and in print to help families navigate the 60-acre ranch, highlighting photo ops, activities, and animal areas. The design helped unify the event’s branding across signage, tickets, and social media.
I designed the Easter Egg Hunt Tickets and the signage for the ranch’s three separate egg-hunt locations, each divided by age group. The signage featured clear directions and playful illustrated icons that matched the printed materials. These cohesive visuals made the event experience easy to follow for families with young children.
To encourage exploration across the full property, I designed an Easter Scavenger Hunt that led families through key attractions. Participants who completed the hunt earned a limited-edition illustrated event pin. The scavenger hunt quickly became one of the most popular family activities and helped ensure that guests experienced the full range of attractions across the ranch.
Marketing materials included animated social media posters, volunteer flyers, event passes, and staff badges. Each design used consistent typography, hand-drawn flourishes, and bright spring tones to create an inviting and cheerful look. QR codes linked directly to sign-up forms and ticket sales, helping boost engagement and attendance.
To further grow community interaction, I designed and launched a social media giveaway campaign that offered exclusive passes to select winners. This campaign encouraged followers to share posts and tag friends, expanding the event’s online reach and helping Easter at the Ranch gain significant visibility ahead of opening weekend.
I designed the Welcome to Peep Island sign as part of a tropical-themed photo area featuring pastel Peeps characters dressed for spring. The design captured the playful tone of the event and Peep Island became one of the most-photographed spots at the festival.
During the festival, I served as the lead photographer and videographer, capturing photos and videos throughout the day. I edited and posted daily content to social media to promote the event, provide updates, and engage families who attended. I also created a short highlight video that showcased the full Easter experience, which was used to promote future events.
